2018 The Hedge Reserve

The Hedge Reserve is essen­tial­ly roy­al­ty around here, and this vin­tage lives up to its rep­u­ta­tion. Regal­ly ele­gant, this inky vio­let wine’s bou­quet boasts notes of rasp­ber­ry, cedar, graphite, vio­lets, and fresh­ly cracked black pep­per­corn. The vel­vety and lux­u­ri­ous palate deliv­ers deca­dent red berries, caramel, cola, cedar, bacon fat, wild flow­ers, and more black pep­per­corn spice. There is not a hard edge to this wine. It deliv­ers a seam­less jour­ney from nose, to palate, to its lengthy finish.
