A cas­cade of cap­ti­vat­ing aro­mat­ics emanates as the wine opens up in the glass. Notes of fresh black­ber­ries, ripe cran­ber­ries, clove and wild flow­ers inter­twine with black pep­per, pan seared rib­eye and earl grey tea. On the palate, the wine takes off with a burst of fresh berries, sage, pep­per, orange zest and clove. The dense, fresh core of the wine dri­ves through to the haunt­ing­ly long fin­ish that car­ries notes of graphite, espres­so and sweet tobacco.
